• Fridays: Minimum of 70 guests
• Saturdays, Public Holidays & the day before Public Holidays: Minimum of 80 guests
• Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays (excl. Public Holidays & the day before Public Holidays): No minimum guest requirement

If your guest count is below the minimum required, no worries – you can still book your dream wedding at Lace on Timber! YAY! However, you will be invoiced for the minimum number of guests as per our requirements. This ensures we’re fully prepared to make your wedding day amazing!

We’re thrilled to help make your wedding dining experience unforgettable! If you have a few guests who require Halaal or Kosher meals, we’d love to accommodate their needs. We have a delicious Salmon option that is both Kosher and Halaal! Just reach out to us, and we’ll ensure they’re taken care of with meals that suit their needs! YAY!

We’re fully committed to providing the highest standard of service and making sure all your guests have a wonderful time! However, please note that our kitchen is not fully Halaal or Kosher certified, so we are unable to cater for fully Halaal or Kosher weddings.

Additionally, we do not allow self-catering or external food/drink suppliers at the reception, to ensure every meal meets our high standards.

You and your guests are welcome to continue your Happily-Ever-After in our Boma area until 02:00 am with soft background music while mingling with your guest at no additional charge (or until midnight on Sundays). Dj music to be turned off at 24;00 when reception ends and cannot be extended .

We’re thrilled to offer this space for you to keep the mingling going, since venue hire cannot be extended beyond midnight (or 22:00 on Sundays). We’re here to make sure your special day is unforgettable and the best celebration of your life! Whoo-hoo!

We’re so excited to help make your wedding day as special as possible! You can check into the beautiful Bridal Suite from 10:00 on your wedding day. If there’s no wedding the day before, we can arrange an earlier check-in at 09:00 am upon request! YAY!

Overnight stays in the Bridal Suite, the night before the wedding, are unfortunately not available as we want you to walk into a clean and beautiful bridal suite on the day of your wedding and be amazed and excited for your wedding day to start. But don’t worry! You’re welcome to book accommodation at our sister-venue, Hello Timber, on the same property as Lace on Timber, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Should your hair and make-up team require starting before the crack of dawn, before check-in time at the bridal,  we would recommend for you to book a villa at Hello Timber the night before, and your make-up can start early, and we will call you once your bridal suite is ready at 10 am.

The Poolhouse features an equipped family braai area and pizza oven, all nested by a cozy fireplace with seating suitable for 26 guests. Outside, you’ll find a splash pool with loungers and a relaxing boma area – perfect for a laid-back, memorable evening with your loved ones!

Although we are unable to host a braai or dinner at Lace on Timber the night before your wedding, we’re confident The Poolhouse will provide the perfect setting for your pre-wedding celebration! Whoo-hoo!

Hello Timber can also assist with a buffet breakfast for all your guests the day after your wedding, making it a weekend not to forget. Yay!

Please note, this offer is valid only for the night before your wedding and does not extend to your wedding night – even if you’ve booked all of Hello Timber’s accommodation for the wedding night as well. Pre-wedding events at The Poolhouse are limited to 18:00 – 23:00, and to maintain a relaxed atmosphere, no loud music is permitted.

We’re delighted to offer accommodation for 22 guests in our 11 beautifully designed rooms at Lace on Timber, with the Bridal Suite reserved exclusively for the bride and groom. That gives us a total capacity of 24 guests here at Lace on Timber!

For additional accommodation, our sister-venue, Hello Timber, can host an extra 26 guests across 8 rooms and 5 villas, bringing the total capacity for both venues to 50 guests – how amazing is that?

We absolutely adore your furry friends and are thrilled to welcome them to your special day!

We’re happy to let you know that dogs are welcome in our chapels for the ceremony, so your four-legged family members can be part of your magical moment! However, please note that dogs are not permitted in the reception hall or guest rooms, including the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room

We’ve got you covered to ensure your big day goes off without a hitch! We are thrilled to let you know that we have a back-up generator on-site to guarantee an uninterrupted power supply throughout your celebration without an additional cost. Generator is included in the venue hire.

We’re happy to provide nutritious and delicious meals for your suppliers, just like the meals chosen for your guests. Since your suppliers work incredibly hard to make your day amazing and spend most of it on their feet, we believe they absolutely deserve a great meal to keep them energized!

However, please note that we do not offer special or discounted rates for supplier meals. Supplier meals should also be included in your total guest count and apply only to those who are present during your reception, such as your DJ, photographers, videographers, and similar vendors.

Yay, we can’t wait to help you explore our delicious menu options for your big day! Here’s how we can make it happen. We host Tasting evenings twice a year exclusively for couples who have already booked their wedding at Lace on Timber. Costing and dates to be discussed with your coordinator 😊

Alternatively, should you not be able to attend the tasting evenings, we offer private food tastings (taking place on a wedding day, usually a Saturday or Sunday ) with a maximum of 4 guests per buffet and 6 guests for plated per session. This is the perfect opportunity for you and your closest family or friends to sample our amazing dishes and select the perfect options for your wedding.
